A ten-member delegation from Hauts-de-France visited The Netherlands to learn from our approach to resolve water-related problems in The Netherlands under the climate change regime. The delegation consisted of local authorities, advisors, and academics from cities and universities in Northern France. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), an agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, asked the Delftse Waterloop Foundation to show the delegation what climate-adaptive measures look like in real life. On March 26, we organized a walk through Delft, based on sections of the New and Old Delfts Water Walk. The delegation was clearly interested and inspired.
