The Outer Delft Water Walk (Buiten Delftse Waterloop) begins at Knus, Zavelpad 3, 2616 LH Delft in the Delftse Hout. You can easily park your car or bike here.
The Netherlands is not as flat as you think. This is reflected in our water system. The Buiten Delftse Waterloop (Outer Delft Water Walk) shows how the Delfland Water Board regulates the water levels and flows in the polders northeast of Delft. You will see pumping stations and locks, see large variations in water level within a small area, and learn about the water quality issues in the recreational lakes of the Delftse Hout.
