Thematic water walks
We have developed 3 thematic walks which illustrate water related issues in Delft. You will learn how the City and the local Water Board Delfland deal with too much water, too little water and polluted water in Delft and the surrounding areas. Both groundwater and surface water in the canals will be discussed, including the control of water levels in relation to NAP (the National Water Level reference). These walks can be followed independently (self-guided). During the Delft Climate Week and Delft Water Week guided tours are also offered.
